Councillor Sood was recently presented with an Honorary Doctorate of Law from Leicester University on Tuesday 8th July for her tireless dedicated work for the communities within the City of Leicester.

Cllr Sood was thrilled with the accolade and it was special receiving it from the university where she studied over 30 years ago.
