The Lord Mayor with the Deputy Prime Minister Harriott Harman MP, who hosted a lunch in honour of the Lord Mayor becoming the first Asian Female Lord Mayor in the UK. All three Leicester MP's were in attendance for the memorable lunch.

The Lord Mayor and her family were invited to 10 Downing Street by the Prime Minister to congratulate her becoming the first female Asian Lord Mayor in the UK. It was a proud and special moment for the Lord Mayor and her family.
